Scholarship Announcement
We are once again seeking applicants for the Oneida Area Civic Chorale’s Senior Scholarship. This scholarship is offered each year to a local high school senior who has shown outstanding achievement in music, has participated in school and community performances, and plans to continue musical study as a major or in extra-curricular activities. This year the amount of the scholarship is $500.
We have changed our application process to allow applicants to submit their video recording and application, and teachers, their letter of recommendation, electronically. (The completed application and letter of recommendation may still be sent by mail if the student and/or teacher prefers.) The video recording of the applicant's performance must be submitted via the Flipgrid portal below.

2023 Scholarship Recipient: Allison Davis
The Oneida Area Civic Chorale has awarded it's 2023 Scholarship to Allison Davis from Westmoreland. Some of Allison's musical activities have included Conference All-State, Area All-State and over 20 plays and musical productions for Westmoreland Drama Club. She also was a member of the Brass Ensemble, Jazz Band, Marching Band and Tri-M National Music Honor Society.
Music has always been a constant for Allison and has had a vital influence on what has shaped her as a person. Allison intends on attending Liberty University to earn a Bachelor of Music education degree, which she hopes to utilize as choir director or general music teacher assisting future students in appreciating the importance of arts and music in life.
